The plot is on the Corporation ground at T.P.-102, F.P. 80, Nikol — the same stretch of Virajali Maidan hosting this season's handloom and handicraft exhibition and a separate handicraft and home-industry fair. The specific 150 sq. m. area is designated by the zone's estate department, at a daily token rate of ₹500 (inclusive of municipal tax).
Organiser responsibilities
As with other large public gatherings, the applicant — Adityasinh Anupsinh Chavda, Ahmedabad — bears full responsibility for public safety and security for the duration of the Mahotsav, and must obtain all required no-objection certificates and permissions — from the Police Department, Home Department, Collector's Office, Fire Brigade, Health Department, and Electrical NOC, among others — at their own cost before the event begins. The Corporation's approval also holds the concerned municipal officers responsible for verifying that these conditions are followed through the event.
